(Put something unusual or interesting in your first sentence.)

(A question or an epigram is a great way to start an essay!)

l   結尾也不用傳統的To conclude/in conclusion然後sum up/paraphrase what you have said (用別的話重述前文)或 give a final message(其實也是重複前文,不過是重複最重要的一點),而是繼續發展,最尾一句峰廻路轉、引人入勝,或如懸崖勒馬,氣勢萬千(end your essay/story with a twist; give your essay/story an interesting but unpredictable ending),examiner拍案叫好或回味再三。

Many celebrities complain that their lives are badly affected by paparazzi (狗仔隊) who follow them everywhere and write stories about them which are untrue.

Write an article for the school magazine on this topic. (Adapted from 1998 (Syl. B) Paper 1)

Elanne Kong arrested for compensated dating,” a supplement reports.

(第二段) Both the celebrities reported and the readers targeted have to prepare themselves for such alarmingly misleading headline from time to time, which may cause the downfall or resurgence of a celebrity.

What is the best way to make or ruin a celebrity? Please ask the paparazzi.

Today, the rise or fall of a public figure hinges mostly on how he/she is reported in the press ……

News reports are one of the most decisive factors in the success and failure of public figures.

Today, the rise or fall of a public figure hinges mostly on how he/she is reported in the press ……

unconventional start of stories

Describe in your diary the naughtiest thing you have ever done (Adapted from 1998 Syl. B Paper 1)

Peeking through the door gap at my father who was trying desperately to find his glasses, I could not help laughing.

It all happened two days ago when …….
unconventional start of stories

Peter could not hide his astonishment at my new look, my curled hair to the shoulders, my tainted contact lens, my six-inch high-heeled shoes, and my low-cut dress. Just three hours ago, my image was that of a pure and impeccable girl.
