What do you know about our company?

你對本公司了解多少?

面試時,你會如何回答這條問題? 

回答時,利用甚麽方法調查應徵公司也是重點之一,可以強調自己是藉合理的方式調查(例如查看公司網站,在聯交所的網站查看公司年報等公開的資料,或由於平時留意新聞報導得知)。你可以考慮談:

l   公司的歷史沿革(在何年成立?在哪個國家成立?員工人數?辦事處的數目和分佈)

l   抽象方面:理念(例如:對內:company culture - supportive, friendly and collegiate atmosphere? 對外:International approach? Client focus? 甚至Social responsibility - community work and environmental policy?

l   現實方面:產品、利潤增長(或倒退?如果倒退得比競爭對手較快你就要考慮不要說或如何說了)、營業額增長率、市場佔有率、定位、技術能力、專業能力(例如,如果是律師行,專長「IPO」或「訴訟」或各方面都有?)、創新能力(率先推出過甚麽產品或服務?)(選兩至三項精采地談談)

l   最近的新發展,例如完成了或正在進行甚麽項目。

I know quite a bit about your company.  I know that you were founded in [London] in [1960] and your global expansion started in the 1990's.  You are one of the leading / most prestigious firms in the [toy] sector.  You have offices in four countries and a staff force of over [2,600] members, and you export to 28 countries. (我對貴公司(亦可直呼公司的名稱而不說貴公司)有相當程度的了解,貴公司於[1960]年在[倫敦]創立,上世紀九十年代開始全球擴展。貴公司是[玩具]業的翹楚,在四個國家擁有辦事處,員工超過[2,600]人,出口到[28]個國家。)

I have learned from your company profile/website that you are well known worldwide as the pioneer in the leading technology for ________.  Your main products are ________.  These products are ergonomic and of compact designs.(我從貴公司(或直呼公司名稱)的簡介/網站得知,貴公司是________尖端科技方面的先驅,享譽全球。貴公司的主要產品是________。這些產品都是以人體工學為基礎的輕巧設計。)

 

Answer 3

I understand that you provide [name of the general service] and that [name of a specific service] is the main service, which accounts for [30%] of your total revenue.  I find it particularly exciting that you have recently entered the China market.  I'd be excited to be a member of your team, helping to develop the new market using my knowledge on China and Mandarin skills. (我了解貴公司提供[一般服務名稱],其中以[特定服務名稱]為主要服務,佔貴公司總收入的30%。令人鼓舞的是,貴公司最近進軍中國市場,我也希望能夠成為貴公司一員,運用我對中國的知識和普通話能力,盡一分力。)(不過,若你談到你具有「中國知識」,你應早有準備對方可能跟進問你:「可以談談你對中國有哪方面的深入認識?」等等。)

I'm impressed with your company's customer-centric approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service.  I have been a customer of your company for a few years and have interacted with your customer service representative for several times.  They go the extra mile to make sure your customers are satisfied.  Your company has an executive who is responsible exclusively for after-sale service and customer care and satisfaction.  That is a rare practice in the industry.  No wonder you have such a high percentage of repeat customers.  I'm one of them and one very impressed customer.  I want to be part of such an admirable culture and practice.
